Gia is a rather quiet girl… until she finds her one of her toys. She has recently discovered the joys of scratching cardboard. Gia enjoys checking out squirrels through the window. She’s always up for some cheek scratches and loves being brushed. She has the sweetest meows and enjoys conversation with her favorite human. You’ll know if she has chosen you if she sleeps under your bed.

The Avery Foundation is a foster-based rescue that helps stray cats and dogs in need in and around the Ottawa area. All our cats and dogs that are adopted out are spayed/neutered and have had their core vaccinations. Our adoption process involves an application; reference checks, interview, and home visit prior to placement.
