The Avery Foundation
The Avery Foundation is a non-profit, foster-based animal rescue organization managed by a network of coordinators and volunteers. We host events and fundraisers to offset the costs associated with caring for; and providing veterinary care to our rescues. We also rely on the generosity of our community and supporters who make donations.
Food (dry + wet), litter, toys, treats, food bowls, litter boxes + scoops, leashes, bones, beds, cages/crates, traps, vet bills, etc. are just some of the things we purchase with funding to help maintain a healthy and safe lifestyle for our rescues. We provide our foster families with all the supplies they need to care for their rescue (i.e. food, litter etc.).
Our adoption fees cover a general health exam, treatments for parasites (fleas, ear mites, worms), neuter/spay, core vaccines and rabies vaccine, microchipping and a variety of other treatments/procedures on a needs basis.
In addition to monetary donations, we are always happy to receive donations of the following items:
- Dry & wet cat food (*Performatrin)
- Toys
- Treats
- Litter
- Litter boxes and scoops
- Cages, crates, and traps
- Canadian Tire Money
- Cans & bottles (alcoholic)
All of this is manageable with your help! Our preferred method to receive a donation is via e-transfer to donate@theaveryfoundation.ca, as we get to keep 100% of the donation. We also accept cash, or cheques (made out to The Avery Foundation) mailed to our address (just message us!)
