Veery is a curious explorer who loves to play. He often starts purring as soon as you enter the room, and will happily approach for tickles and attention. When he’s very pleased or just extra excited to see you, he’ll vibrate his tail in the cutest way. He is energetic and eager to initiate play. He loves playing fetch, and asks to play fetch by bringing you his favourite toys wherever you are. He also loves tossing toys around on his own, and wrestling and chasing his brother. His favourite toys are little balls, springs, and toy mice that he can carry around in his mouth.
Pipit is an initially shy boy who needs some time to warm up and gain confidence, but once he does, his sweet personality shines through. He chirrups excitedly when he wakes up from a nap and sees you there, and will start head-butting anything nearby when he wants affection. If you give him the best tickles, he’ll roll onto his back and start kneading the air with his little paws. His favourite playtime is playing with a wand toy (especially one with feathers). His favourite spot to nap and hang out is anywhere slightly hidden — he loves tunnels and the blanket fort his current foster home has made just for him.
Veery and Pipit are a bonded pair who love to groom, nap with, and play with each other. Both boys are sweet and affectionate, but sometimes want their own space. Although they will eagerly seek out attention and pets, there are times when they will also shy away from being touched. They would do well in a home that gives them lots of love, tickles, and play time, but also respects their boundaries when they desire.
Medical considerations: Veery is on a speciality diet. He is currently eating Hills Prescription Diet Z/D (food sensitivities) wet and dry food.
