Sweet Pea is as sweet as her name! She is a companion cat that likes to be with people and watch the daily family activities. She likes to cuddle but only for short periods of time. Sweet Pea is available for adoption to an adult-only/mature family, dog-free home with a calm and quiet environment. She would prefer to be the only cat in the household, however, it is likely she would get along with another older, gentle and low-energy cat.

Sweet Pea doesn’t play too much, but her absolute favorite toys are the plastic springs. She likes to bat them back and forth and carry them in her mouth around the house, proudly announcing her “catch”. She will play with wand toys on occasion and enjoys catnip.
Sweet Pea loves to hang around the home office and sit on your lap while you work. She will nap on your desk or sit quietly next to you while you are on video calls.

Medical considerations: Sweet Pea is in early stage renal failure and as such requires a K/D diet and kidney care supplement. She is also currently on a low-dose oral liquid laxative to help her digestion. Sweet Pea is also declawed on her front paws (this was done prior to the rescue taking her in).

Sweet Pea will require an adopter who will monitor her medical needs and give her daily attention. She will return the affection back with lots of purrs and loving slow blinks.
