*Catalina (4 years) and Verona (8 months) are available for adoption to a quiet, adult-only home.

Catalina is a long haired Tortie with a beautiful maine and coat to match. She loves to snuggle with her little sister Verona. She loves scritches and will jump up on her hind legs to be pet. Recently we discovered she has a very soft purr, hard to hear, but if you’re quiet enough you may hear it! She plays a bit but enjoys lounging mostly. Her favorite thing to do is catch sunrays up on the cat tower and watch all the exciting stuff going on outside from the highest perch. She is very food motivated and enjoys treats of all kinds. She has started coming up for attention on her own but will still startle and run off if you are walking near by.

Verona is a sweet little calico girl. She’s full of personality and energy and has the cutest little chirps and purrs. She loves to play with all toys especially the feather wand. She enjoys snuggles with her big sister Catalina but still has kitten energy so often goes off on her own to play and get into kitten shenanigans. Verona is also very food motivated and enjoys a variety of treats as well as chicken! She’s quick to purr when being pet and has recently started allowing pets more often. Like her big sister she comes up for attention in her own time but is quick to startle and hide when you walk past her.

Both girls are very bonded to each other and are quite the sweet pair! You can tell by their snuggles how much they love each other!

The Avery Foundation is a foster-based rescue that helps stray cats and dogs in need in and around the Ottawa area. All our cats and dogs that are adopted out are spayed/neutered and have had their core vaccinations. Our adoption process involves an application, reference checks, interview, and home visit prior to placement.
