Boris is a handsome, healthy mature beagle. He is a wonderful companion that is always willing pet and loved. Boris is great with kids as he’s lived with them his whole life. He’s had his ears and tail pulled, babies tried to ride him, and kids laid in his bed. He’s very loving and patient with the little ones.

Boris is good with other dogs. He is generally not a fearful dog, though he can feel threatened by bigger dogs. When taking him for a walk, and bigger dogs are approaching, he just needs a bit of reassurance that everything is going to be okay. He has not been around many cats, but has tended to ignore the neighborhood cats when out on walks.

Boris is a protective boy that growls if someone approaches him while eating or when strangers come in the house. That said, he’s a very easy dog to gain trust from and is willing to play and to be loved by new people.

Boris knows a few commands such as sit, paw and lay down. He is a polite boy that will wait to start eating after you serve his food if you ask him to, and will wait until you say “Go”.
