Mona is a 9 year old, 85lb lab mix recently Mona unfortunately was diagnosed with Lyme in November but after a long course of antibiotics and some TLC she is back to her normal self and feeling better than ever.
She is full of nothing but love, she is kind, gentle and eager to please. She is excited to meet everyone and anything that comes her way, greeting them with a big smile. Mona is great with all people, dogs and cats. She is house trained, leash trained, and will patiently stand for a bath and nail trims. Though a slightly older girl, age has not slowed her down as she loves long walks, hikes and visits to the dog park to romp around like a puppy. Recently on Christmas day, Mona discovered her love of hockey and was photographed by the Canadian Press! (Photo Number 10: https://www.smh.com.au/…/gallery-the-best-photos-from-aroun…)
Though very active outside she settles right down inside and will happily laze around with you at home. She adapted quickly to life in foster care, bonding to her caregiver quickly, learning new tricks (we can shake a paw!) and even shedding a few pounds! Mona would be the perfect addition to any family looking for a well rounded bundle of love and joy to invite into their home.
Mona is spayed and microchipped, will receive her booster vaccines shortly and is on monthly preventatives. She currently receives daily joint supplements to aid in her mobility. She will need to return to our affiliate vet clinic the Glebe Pet Hospital in April for blood work which is included in the adoption fee.
