May is a shy but absolutely lovely lady. When she first came to us she spent most of her time in a box hiding away and only occassionally accepting pets.
Since being in foster care May she has changed completely. Loud noises still make her nervous, but she has become well adjusted to indoor kitty life. She has a calm personality and likes to spend most of her time sleeping and grooming in her choosen spots. May enjoys playing and interacting with other cats in the house and would do well with other feline siblings. She prefers to have free range to observe the people or the other cats of the house and does not like to be isolated.
When she is feeling safe and secure, she loves to play with her catnip toys or pounce after some string! She becomes instant jelly for chin scratched and head pets and has since discovered the wonderful world of belly rubs! However, she is still unsure about being picked up.
May will require a patient and calm home where she can continue her socialization and take her time to bond with her family. She would benefit from having another cat with her in the house to help her gain confidence.
